Job Summary:

Afrika Tikkun is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment at our Orange Farm location. The cleaner will be responsible for performing routine cleaning duties and maintaining the cleanliness of designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning Duties:

• Clean designated areas daily as required.

• Dust office surfaces and common areas according to the cleaning schedule.

• Clean windows as needed and as per the schedule.

• Adhere to health and safety standards by displaying wet floor caution signs.

• Perform hourly checks of bathrooms and ensure they are cleaned at least twice a day (including internal staff toilets).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Matric (Grade 12)

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience, preferably within an office environment.

Required Skills:

• Emotional intelligence and effective communication.

• Experience in cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards.

• Ability to work effectively within an office setting.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
