General worker

Job Description

A well-known store in Cape Town is looking to hire people for jobs that will start next week. The job will be for general workers at an offloading facility.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills

• Matric (high school diploma) or something similar

• Must be sober (no alcohol or drugs)

Job Duties (what you will do):

• Cleaning and maintenance: You will be sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, vacuuming, and changing light bulbs.

• Material management: You will help with organizing and labeling items, and making sure the supplies and equipment are in the right places.

• Supporting skilled workers: You will prepare work areas and assist skilled workers with tasks when asked.

• Assisting with events: You will help set up and take down equipment for events or meetings.

• Helping with moving: You may need to move furniture, equipment, and other heavy items.

• Following safety rules: You will make sure that the workplace is safe for everyone.

• Communication: You will talk to your team members and your boss to make sure everyone knows what to do.
