About the Role
BTree Solutions is looking for a skilled Incident Management Engineer to handle and resolve technical issues quickly in a 24/7/365 work environment. You will use monitoring tools and work with teams to keep systems running smoothly, especially on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

You’ll also report on issues, analyze data, help prevent future problems, and ensure that all incidents are resolved as fast as possible.

Your Main Responsibilities
Manage IT incidents from start to finish, keeping everyone informed
Lead and guide incident triage calls and troubleshoot issues
Use monitoring tools and dashboards to help fix problems
Maintain and improve incident response processes
Provide updates to stakeholders and help write root cause reports
Track trends in system issues to help prevent future outages
Collaborate with tech teams to resolve and document problems
Work in on-call rotation and be flexible with work shifts
Support AWS applications and systems for performance and stability

Technical Skills Required
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and incident management
Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, Redshift, and more
Knowledge of tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Catchpoint, MoogSoft, CloudTrail, and Extrahop
Strong experience in monitoring and performance analysis
Ability to understand different systems like Linux/Unix, Wintel Servers, Networks, Firewalls, Databases, etc.
Experience handling application errors in a cloud environment
Skills in debugging web, database, and infrastructure issues
Strong communication: Able to lead calls and explain technical details to management
Good at managing stress and multi-tasking
AWS Solution Architect Associate (or higher) certification is a plus

Education
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with middleware, Java, and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
Previous work in the finance or banking sector
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (OpenTel) for observability
