Job Summary:

FedEx is looking for a part-time Inspector Data Entry to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco. In this role, you will help classify merchandise and complete customs forms based on Mexican government regulations. You will also help with office tasks and work directly with customers.

This job is great for someone with experience in customs clearance and good organizational and communication skills.

What You Will Do:

• Classify imported and exported goods according to Mexican customs laws and duty rates

• Fill out customs entry forms depending on the product

• Communicate with customers about customs-related questions or problems

• Help with general office tasks like filing, typing, and preparing reports

• Keep records and files organized and up to date

• Support your manager with other administrative duties

• Perform other duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

Experience:

• At least 18 months of experience working with customs clearance or brokerage

• Previous experience doing office or customer service work

Skills:

• Good knowledge of import/export rules and duty rates

• Basic office skills like typing, filing, and using a computer

• Strong communication and people skills

• Able to lift packages up to 75 lbs and move items up to 150 lbs using the right equipment

• Neat and professional appearance

• English fluency preferred
