About the Function:

MakeMyTrip’s Holidays business provides various travel and tour packages, including customizable options and fixed-departure holidays. The Franchise sales channel is key to expanding our market by partnering with Franchise Partners to enhance customer reach and satisfaction.

About the Role:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth of Holiday Packages in your region by working closely with Franchise Partners. Your role involves market research, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Identify new business opportunities and analyze market trends to develop strategies for increasing market share.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to meet regional targets and work with marketing teams on promotional campaigns.
  • Sales Planning and Growth: Set and monitor sales targets for franchise partners, track year-on-year growth, and analyze sales data for improvement.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, and use data analytics to assess sales initiatives.
  • Team Management: Train and guide the sales team in your region, motivate them to reach sales targets, and oversee their performance.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners, help them grow their travel communities, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts between franchise partners and the sales team, ensuring effective communication.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable institution.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a B2B/Franchise role or related field.
