Santam Travel Insurance is looking for a friendly and professional Call Centre Agent to join their team in Illovo, Sandton. This is a full-time job where you will speak with clients over the phone and help them with travel insurance products. Main Duties (What You Will Do)

• Talk to clients on the phone or face-to-face

• Work in a call centre that handles incoming calls (inbound)

• Help sell and promote short-term insurance products

• Explain products clearly and correctly, following the rules set by the FAIS Act

• Process and manage documents like quotes, policies, and other forms

• Answer questions and solve problems by phone or email

• Provide excellent customer service and speak politely and clearly

• Support the sales team and management when needed

What You Need to Succeed

Education and Experience

• Finished high school (Matric) or similar qualification

• FAIS accreditation and RE1 certificate (if you’ve worked in finance)

• At least 3 years of experience in a call centre

Skills

• Good computer skills (especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Speak and write well in English

• Friendly and professional on the phone

• Good at working with people

• Careful with details

• Able to stay calm and work well under pressure

• Experience making outgoing calls (advantageous)
