About the Job:

Footprint is looking for a Sustainable Solutions Specialist to help big brands in the food, consumer goods, and industrial sectors switch to eco-friendly packaging. If you love sustainability, enjoy meeting people, and are great at building business, this role is for you.

You’ll work with well-known companies across Europe to offer smart, green packaging solutions. Your main goal is to find new customers and help current ones grow by promoting products that are good for both the planet and business.

What You’ll Do:

• Find and contact new customers in your region

• Focus on big companies, like Fortune 500 food and consumer brands

• Manage the full sales process: from first meeting to closing the deal

• Create powerful presentations to show how Footprint’s products help the environment and save money

• Work with teams from research, operations, legal, and marketing to meet customer needs

• Advise customers about eco-trends, new rules, and green innovations

• Represent the company at events, customer meetings, and industry talks

• Share market and competitor info with your team to help guide business decisions

• Take on other tasks your manager may assign

What You Need:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Packaging Engineering, or a similar subject

• A Master’s degree is a bonus

Experience:

• 5–10 years of B2B (business-to-business) sales experience

• At least 5 years working in packaging, sustainability, or material-related industries

• A strong record of winning big contracts, especially in the food or consumer goods industry

• Experience selling to large global companies in the U.S. or Europe

• Comfortable working with international teams

Skills:

• Excellent at talking to and persuading people

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage several projects at once

• Competitive and driven to succeed

• Deep interest in sustainability and protecting the environment

• Fluent in English; knowing another language like German, Dutch, or French is a plus

• Able to handle stress and changing work demands

• Professional and trustworthy with confidential information
