About the Role:

We are building the Microsoft Inference Cloud, a core service that powers all Copilots for Microsoft and AOAI customers. As the use of Copilot(s) grows, creating a scalable and efficient system to optimize inference capacity is crucial. We are seeking a Software Engineer to help us build scalable, highly available, distributed systems to support our ambitious AI vision.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Support: Build, deliver, and maintain high-quality distributed services for machine learning experiences.
• Adapt and Innovate: Stay updated with new trends, technologies, and patterns to enhance the platform’s availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Architectural Contributions: Participate in product architecture discussions, test design hypotheses, and propose solutions. Provide feedback and inputs to architects.
• Culture and Values: Embrace and contribute to Microsoft’s culture and values.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience in coding with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
