Robotics Trainer – Job Description
Job Title: Robotics Trainer
Job Summary:
A Robotics Trainer designs and delivers engaging robotics training programs for students or professionals. The trainer teaches robotics fundamentals, coding, electronics, sensors, actuators, and automation through practical, project-based learning while helping learners develop problem-solving and innovation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct robotics training sessions for students, teachers, or professionals.
Teach robotics concepts, programming, electronics, and embedded systems.
Train learners on platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO Robotics, and other robotics kits.
Develop lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and practical exercises.
Guide students in building, programming, testing, and troubleshooting robotics projects.
Prepare learners for robotics competitions, exhibitions, and hackathons.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain robotics lab equipment, tools, and inventory.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in robotics, AI, IoT, and automation.
Ensure safe practices while working with electronic components and machinery.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of robotics, electronics, and embedded systems.
Programming skills in C/C++, Python, or block-based programming.
Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or similar microcontrollers.
Understanding of sensors, motors, actuators, and communication protocols.
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Passion for teaching and mentoring learners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Robotics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience in robotics training, STEM education, or technical instruction is preferred.
Certifications in robotics, embedded systems, or programming are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI, IoT, Computer Vision, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
Participation in robotics competitions or research projects.
Knowledge of 3D printing, CAD design, and rapid prototyping.
Work Environment:
Schools, colleges, universities, STEM learning centers, training institutes, or corporate training organizations.
May require travel for workshops, competitions, or outreach programs.
