About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team on a FIFO basis. You will be working on a 2-week on-site, 1-week off-site schedule. You will report to the Project Manager and work on projects that involve building complex concrete structures and other civil works. As the Senior Project Engineer, your duties will include:

Understanding and interpreting project specifications, drawings, and construction methods

Managing and mentoring other engineers on the project

Providing engineering support to the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and supervisors

Creating detailed work programs for the team

Ensuring the project work stays within scope and complies with the plan

Identifying and submitting variations to the scope of work for review

Working with the team to improve project margins

Reviewing and preparing internal documents for approval by the client
About You:
To apply for this role, you should have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a similar field

Experience working in FIFO (Fly In, Fly Out) or DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) roles is preferred

Experience with large concrete construction projects in Australia

Experience working with a Civil Contractor

Leadership experience, including mentoring small project teams

Good written and spoken communication skills
