Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in SAS and proven team leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage SAS-based projects from initiation to closure
Plan project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
Manage and mentor a team of analysts/developers, ensuring high performance
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients
Track project progress, risks, and dependencies; implement mitigation plans
Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance, and best practices
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear reporting
Coordinate with business, technical, and data teams for requirement alignment
Support process improvements and project governance initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of overall experience in project management
Strong hands-on or managerial experience with SAS (Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, etc.)
Proven experience leading and managing teams
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Experience in data analytics, reporting, or statistical projects
Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification
Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, or Analytics-driven environments
Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven projects
