Job Purpose
To assist faculty in conducting mechanical engineering laboratory and workshop practical’s and support students in developing hands-on technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist faculty during laboratory and workshop practical sessions
Guide students in safe operation of machines and tools
Prepare labs/workshops and ensure equipment readiness
Operate and maintain basic mechanical workshop machines
Ensure safety rules and workshop discipline
Maintain records of tools, equipment, and consumables
Assist in practical examinations and skill assessments
Qualification Required
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Machinist 
NCVT / NCTVT certification
Experience
2–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical workshop/lab or training institute
Skills
Knowledge of machine shop and workshop practices
Ability to read basic drawings and use measuring instruments
Good communication and teamwork skills
Salary : 25 K to 35 K
