Crimson World School, Agra is seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and experienced School Bus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of students and staff. The ideal candidate must strictly adhere to traffic rules, school safety protocols, and demonstrate courteous behavior with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate the school bus on assigned routes as per the school transport schedule.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students and staff.
Follow all traffic laws, school transport rules, and safety guidelines at all times.
Maintain discipline and ensure student safety inside the bus.
Conduct daily checks of the bus (brakes, lights, tires, fuel, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, etc.).
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to the transport department.
Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of the bus.
Assist students while boarding and deboarding, especially younger children.
Coordinate with bus attendants/helpers (if assigned).
Maintain a polite and professional attitude with students, parents, and school staff.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a bus or commercial vehicle driver (school bus experience preferred).
Good knowledge of local routes in and around Agra.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Ability to communicate politely with children and parents.
Age Requirement:
Preferably between 25 and 55 years (as per applicable transport and school norms).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
High level of safety awareness and patience.
Physically fit and medically cleared to drive commercial vehicles.
Calm demeanor and child-friendly attitude.
Working Days & Timings:
As per school transport schedule (morning and afternoon shifts).
Availability for school events, excursions, or special duties when required.
