Role Overview
The Sales Executive at EDSOM FinTech is responsible for driving business
growth by acquiring new clients and promoting the company’s fintech products and
services. This role involves identifying potential clients through calls, networking, and
market research, generating leads, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. The
executive will pitch product features, conduct demonstrations, and guide prospects
through the sales process to convert them into active clients, while handling objections
and negotiating terms to close deals. Building and maintaining long-term client
relationships is crucial, as is understanding client needs and providing suitable
solutions, ensuring smooth onboarding by coordinating with internal teams. The role
requires meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets, preparing regular reports,
tracking market trends, and participating in marketing campaigns and events.
Additionally, the Sales Executive will contribute ideas to enhance sales strategies and
support the development of the company’s sales framework, playing a vital part in the
company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Identify potential clients through calls, networking, and market research
• Generate leads from various channels and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Reach out to new prospects and explain product benefits
2. Client Acquisition
• Pitch product features and services to prospective clients
• Conduct product demos and presentations (online/offline)
• Convert leads into active clients through effective relationship management
3. Sales Follow-up & Closure
• Follow up with prospects regularly to drive conversions
• Handle objections and provide the right information to close deals
• Negotiate pricing, packages, and terms as per company guidelines

4. Client Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Understand client needs and provide suitable fintech solutions
• Ensure smooth onboarding by coordinating with internal teams
5. Reporting & Targets
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and share with management
• Track market trends and competitor activity
6. Additional Responsibilities
• Participate in marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities
• Suggest improvements to enhance product reach and sales strategy
• Support management in building a strong sales framework
Required Skills
• Excellent communication and convincing skills
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
• Ability to build long-term client relationships
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Understanding of fintech industry (added advantage)
Qualifications
• Graduate in any discipline
• Experience in sales (preferably fintech/IT/financial services)
• Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome
