SEO Trainee

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Trainee to join our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about search engines, content optimization, and learning how websites rank on Google. You will work closely with the SEO team to execute on-page and off-page optimization tasks, perform keyword research, and support overall SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in keyword research and competitor analysis
• Support on-page SEO activities including meta tags, headings, content optimization, internal linking, etc.
• Help execute off-page SEO tasks such as link building, directory submissions, and outreach
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.)
• Prepare SEO performance reports and documentation
• Assist in optimizing website content for better user experience and ranking
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates
• Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page & off-page)
• Familiarity with search engines and how they work
• Good communication & analytical skills
• Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly
• Knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets
• Bonus: Familiarity with WordPress or any CMS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communication, or any related field
• Digital marketing/SEO certification
