Job Responsiblities-

Coordinated and monitored the shipment of goods to ensure timely delivery.
Negotiated freight rates with shipping companies to reduce costs associated with imports and exports.
Reviewed supplier invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy prior to payment processing.
Ensured proper documentation was completed prior to customs clearance of shipments at ports of entry
or exit.
Monitored currency exchange rates in order to forecast budget requirements for upcoming shipments.
Processed documents including bills of lading, invoices, and other import and export related paperwork.
Identified opportunities for improvement within current processes in order to increase efficiency and
reduce costs associated with imports and exports.
