Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid (may require travel) – candidates from the Southern California area will be given priority.
Salary: $100K – $115K per year

Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in Field Service Management (FSM) tools, especially in the utilities and energy industries. This person will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and help implement FSM solutions that make their operations more efficient.
Main Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Talk to clients to learn about their business needs, processes, and goals related to field service operations.
- Turn these business needs into detailed requirements for FSM solutions.
- Identify gaps where current systems do not meet the client’s needs.
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Work with technical teams to design FSM solutions based on the client’s needs and best practices in the industry.
- Help set up and customize FSM tools, especially OverIT’s platform, for specific client needs.
- Test the solutions to make sure they meet the requirements and are of good quality.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Be the link between clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding.
- Run meetings and workshops to collect requirements, explain solutions, and get client approval.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to clients and the internal team.
- Process Improvement:
- Look for ways to improve the client’s business processes using FSM solutions.
- Recommend best practices and creative solutions to improve field service operations.
- Monitor how well the solutions are working and suggest improvements based on feedback and data.
- Training and Support:
- Create training materials and teach clients how to use FSM solutions.
- Offer ongoing support to clients after the solutions are implemented to ensure everything works well.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a similar field.
- An advanced degree (like an MBA or Master’s) is preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in Field Service Management solutions for utilities and energy industries.
- Experience in gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and implementing solutions.
- Understanding of different technology systems (ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of utility operations, asset management, and industry regulations.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience using FSM software platforms (experience with OverIT is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and stakeholders.
- Good project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to travel to client sites if needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in consulting and client-facing roles.
- Familiarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions.
- Knowledge of new technologies like IoT, AI, and Machine Learning in Field Service Management.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP or PMP).
